Muslims claim Muhammad mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:18

 

Deuteronomy 18:18 - I will raise them up a Prophet from among their BRETHREN, like unto thee,
and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that "I" shall command him.” - KJV

 

So the Muslim interpretation here is: I will raise up a [Arab] prophet amongst Isaac's "brother" Ishmael's
descendants, I will put revelations in his mouth, and he shall reveal those revelations, in the form of the Quran.

 

The actual interpretation here is: I will raise up a [Jewish] prophet amongst Isaac's seed (i.e. the Children of Israel /
12 tribes of Israel) I will put revelations in his mouth, and he shall reveal those commands to the Children of Israel.
